Multipoint Regression Data - Processing Methods Applied to Nonlinear Kinetic Data
نویسنده
چکیده
This paper describes the application of nultipoint regression methods to a variety of situations that involve nonlinear kinetic data, and illustrates advantages that can be achieved with these data—processing methods. Examples include kinetic procedures that are virtually indepen— dent of variations in experimental parameters such as temperature, pH, reagent concentration, etc., kinetic procedures that have substantially increased linear ranges, procedures that can resolve two—component mixtures such as unconjugated and conjugated bilirubins or the H and M subunits of lactate dehydrogenase, procedures that can compensate for substrate inhibition in the quantitation of enzyme activity, and procedures that have the potential to yield linear (not "linearized") calibration curves in competitive binding inununoassays. Data are presented to illustrate most of these points.

Multipoint kinetic methods evaluated for quantitation of theophylline with prosthetic group label immunoassay.
We describe the development and evaluation of a multipoint kinetic approach to the measurement and data-processing steps in immunoassays. Nonlinear regression methods are used to fit data obtained during the kinetic phase of the immunochemical reaction to a model that represents the kinetic behavior of the total system. This approach is evaluated for quantitation of theophylline with a new reac...
متن کاملQuantification of analyte and interferent by multipoint analysis.
We have investigated the application of multipoint kinetic curve-fitting methods to the determination of an analyte in the presence of a single interferent. Our model system for the analyte-interferent was creatinine-acetoacetate as determined with the kinetic Jaffé method. We examined the utility of the following multipoint approaches: simultaneous equations, multivariable linear regression, a...

The hyperspectral imagery provides images in hundreds of spectral bands within different wavelength regions. This technology has increasingly applied in different fields of earth sciences, such as minerals exploration, environmental monitoring, agriculture, urban science, and planetary remote sensing. However, despite the ability of these data to detect surface features, the measured spectrum i...

processing. This proposition is still applied and accepted by publications of the highest level. The nonlinear regression method is being used as an alternative way of obtaining the parameters for kinetic crystallization models, such as Nakamura’s, Kamal and Chu’s, and Dietz and Malkin’s, directly from the non-isothermal crystallization data obtained by DSC. In most cases, the results obtained ...
متن کاملSuccessive Bayesian estimation of reaction rate constants from spectral data
The successive estimation of regression parameters is an effective technique applied in nonlinear regression analysis. In the paper, this method is used for obtaining kinetic information from spectral data without any pure component spectra. In order to study the way kinetics may be determined by ‘hard’ model without separate calibration, the simulated example of a two-step reaction was constru...
